Bleaching is the most demanding colour treatment hair can go through – which is exactly why it needs to be done properly. At Lumé by Trine, a full bleach always begins with an honest assessment of your hair: the starting colour, previous colours and the strength of the hair decide how light we can go, and whether we should split the process across several visits.
The lightening itself can be followed by a toner alongside the treatment, so you land on the shade you want – cool icy blonde, soft beige or something else entirely – rather than a yellowish halfway result. A Metal-DX treatment can be added alongside the colour and helps protect the hair along the way.
If your hair is already coloured, we always recommend contacting the salon for guidance before you book a full bleach. That way you avoid unpleasant surprises, and we can make a realistic plan for your blonde hair – possibly with a colour removal as the first step.

What does bleaching cost in Copenhagen?
At Lumé by Trine, a full bleach costs DKK 1,369 without a cut and DKK 2,068 with a cut. A root colour with bleaching likewise costs DKK 1,369 without a cut. On top of that there is usually a toner alongside the treatment at DKK 399.
Can any hair become icy blonde?
Not always in a single visit. Dark or previously coloured hair often needs to be lightened over several sessions to keep it healthy. At the consultation, Trine assesses your hair and makes a realistic plan – honesty rather than promises the hair cannot live up to.
How often does bleaching need maintaining?
The regrowth is usually lightened every four to eight weeks with a root colour and bleaching, and the shade is kept up with toners in between. We agree on a rhythm that suits your hair and your everyday life.
What is a colour removal?
A colour removal takes old colour and build-up out of the hair and is often used as the first step before the hair is lightened or re-coloured. At Lumé by Trine, a small colour removal costs DKK 399 and a large one DKK 599 – both are also available with a cut.
Should I contact the salon before a full bleach?
Yes, we always recommend it. Tell us about your hair's history – especially previous colours – so we can advise you before you book. It is also noted next to the treatment on the price list.
